This project was a full green field site new build. From inception Plockelman Design was involved in the project: planning both the layout and functionality of the home as well as editing and extending the original design; adding a utility room and arrival porch and changing window and door styles and locations to add as much natural light as possible to the high ceilinged open plan living space.

The main challenge was creating a sense of lived-in character with a new build home. This was achieved by highlighting the texture of the wooden ceiling and floor and matching unique pieces of sourced old furniture with built-in bespoke plaster furniture. Natural textures and elements created the desired atmosphere for the home
